The Paris Public Library Advisory Board met in the Library Gallery Wednesday afternoon, July 15, 2009, at 4
o'clock. Chairman Bill Kennedy called the meeting to order. Others in attendance were Hilda Mallory, Audrey
Lakes, Deborah Hatley, Debbie Anderson, Eddie Poole, and Library Director Priscilla McAnally.
Minutes from the previous meeting were approved as printed.
The Director reported that the Lone Star Libraries Grant will increase this year, probably to as much as $10,000.
ghe plans to use $1,500 of that for the courier service for interlibrary loans. Members were asked for
suggestions for a good use for the remainder.
The statistical report was up over 2008 in circulation, visits, reserves, interlibrary loans, and new items. The
"Dime a Dozen" book sale has been very successful.
There being no further business on the agenda, the meeting was adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
