1. The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Billy Copeland, Chairman at
5:32 p.m.
A. The following members were present:
Ray Ball
Jerry Coyle
Fred Williams
Billy Copeland
B. The following members were absent:
Steve Gilbert
Phillip Payne
Vic Ressler
C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Airport Director; and Jerry Richey, Airport
Manager.
2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (January 19, 2012)
Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by Fred Williams to approve the minutes for the
January 19, 2012 meeting. Motion carried 4 -0.
3. Report from Shawn Napier, Airport Director:
A. Status of Airport Improvements —
Shawn Napier, Airport Director stated received a letter from Sheppard Air Force Base
regarding a fly -in, if anyone would like to sign up he has the forms available. This past
Tuesday had a pre - construction meeting for Phase II of the airport improvements. Richard
Drake construction will be doing the asphalt work for this phase. Start date for the project
is March 26`h and the completion date is June 24. Now that we have a finish date we need
to schedule a sub - committee meeting regarding the fly -in.
4. Report, f •om Jerry Richey, Airport Manager.
Jerry Richey, Airport Manager made the report to the advisory board. Mr. Richey stated
they had several issues one was the bi -fold doors had water leaks and the Jet -A fuel line
was leaking. These items have been fixed.
S. Request, for, future agenda items. Report from Sub- Committee on fly -in. Status of Airport
Improvements.
