A. Status of Airport Improvements — Shawn Napier made a report to board members.
Mr. Napier stated Blue Bay construction has started the project at the airport. We
have been communicating with TXDOT aviation regarding future development.
TXDOT aviation informed the City that hangar grants are no longer a 75/25 grant
match; they are now a 90/10 grant match. Mr. Napier further stated to take
advantage of these grants you must have the air side completed. He will be getting
with Sandra Braden to review what is left to complete on the air side; that way the
City can look at applying for grant monies the following year. Mr. Napier stated if
there are any additional repair issues that need to be addressed get a list to him or
Jerry. There will be money left over which we can utilize for additional items
that need to be repaired.
4. Report, discussion and possible action on the findings of the subcommittee regarding an
open house /fly -in at the airport.

S. Report from Jerry Richey, Airport Manager.
Jerry Richey, Airport Manager made report to board members. Mr. Richey stated as
previously discussed it looks like the taxi ways will be completed for Phase 1 and 2 by the
end of next week; then they will close runway 324 which will take a couple of weeks to
complete. The milling project is moving forward and we haven't had to close the runway.
Mr. Richey further stated we still have both of the water leaks, not sure why they can't fix
the leaks. We may want to look into changing contractors if they can't fix the problem.
Shawn Napier stated may have to replace the entire pipe, it could be rusted. Dr Fred
Williams asked if the water faucet at the west hangar is working now. Mr. Richey stated
he will check on it and get back with him.
