1. The Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order by Chairman Terry Christian at
12:00 p.m.
A. The following members were present:
Chester Martindale
Allen Moore
Rick Hundley
Terry Christian, Chairman
Kyle McCarley
B. The following members were absent:
C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Director of Engineering, Planning and
Development.
2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (October S, 2010)
Motion was made by Rick Hundley, seconded by Chester Martindale to approve the
minutes from the October 5, 2010 meeting. Motion carried 5 -0.
3. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Vicki S. Golden to grant a
variance to Chapter 11.5 Fence Regulations, Section 11.5- 3(b)(1)(a) No fence shall be
permitted in the front yard, to allow a front yard fence on Lot 18-A, Block 1, Stellrose
Addition, being number 649 22nd Street S.E.
Public hearing was declared open.
A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition.
Marty Brunson, 184 PR 30255, daughter of petitioner. Ms. Brunson stated her
mother has had heart surgery and is unable to get up down the back steps to let her
dog out. They had Mr. Pridemore put the fence up not knowing that had to have a
permit before installing a fence. Ms. Brunson further stated that she will not be able
to keep her dog and would have to go to a long term care facility. Ms. Golden has
had problems with people coming up to her house and asking for money and the

Public hearing was declared closed.
Motion was made by Rick Hundley, seconded by Allen Moore to approve the variance.
Motion carried 5 -0.
4. Meeting adjourned at 12:1.0 p.m.
