Y.� i mmission met in regular session Tuesday, February 4, 2003,
at 5:15 P.M. in the Municipal Court Room with the following members
present:
1. Ed Ellis
2. Mary Lane
3. George Robinson
4. Ed Seidle
5. George Kimbrough
The city staff was represented by Assistant Police Chief James Barnett.
The meeting was called to order at 5:15 P.M. by Chairman George Robinson.
The minutes of the Sept. 4, 2001, meeting were approved as submitted.
The first item of business was a request for a No Parking Zone in the 400
block of East Kaufman Street on the North side of the street.
After learning that this was a request from the post office due to vehicles
parked in this area blocking mail trucks and had been recommended by
Police Chief Karl Louis Ed Seidle made a motion to recommend installing
the signs as requested. Mary Lane seconded and the motion carried 5 ayes to
0 nays.
The second item was a request for Stop Signs in The Hills subdivision at the
following locations:
1. On Abby Lane at Darnell Drive stopping East and West bound traffic on
Abby Lane at Darnell Drive.
2. On Darnell Drive at North Hills Drive stopping East and West bound
traffic on Darnell Drive at North Hills Drive.
After discussion Ed Seidle made a motion to combine the requests and
recommend the signs be placed as requested. Ed Ellis seconded and the
motion carried 5 ayes to 0 nays.
There being nor further business the meeting was adjourned at 5.25 P.M.
