NOVEMBER 6, 2000
The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, November 6, 2000 at 5:30 at Paris Junior
College, Applied Technology Building, Rm. 1016, 2400 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas with the
following members present:
1. Reeves Hayter
2. Vincent Battles
3. Barbara Forrest
4. Eddie Vincent
4. Marshall Kent
5. Curtis Fendley
6. Bobby L. Myers
7. Louis Yates, Jr.
Earl Smith, the city engineer was also present.
The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter.
1. The minutes from the October 2, 2000 regular planning and zoning meeting were approved
with a motion by Curtis Fendley seconded by Marshall Kent. Motion carried by a vote of 8
ayes and 0 nays.

Public Hearing to consider the site plan approval requested by Terry Jacobs, Part of
Lot 14, City Block 259, being the 2900 Block NE Loop 286.
The public hearing was declared open.
There was no one present to speak for or against the site plan approval.
The public hearing was declared closed.
Consideration of and action on the site plan approval requested by Terry Jacobs, Part
of Lot 14, City Block 259, being the 2900 Block NE Loop 286.
Motion was made to table by Bobby Myers and seconded by Curtis Fendley. Motion carried
by a vote of 8 ayes and 0 nays.
4. Consideration of and action on recommendation of the Final Plat, The Hills, Phase I.
Motion was made to approve by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Eddie Vincent. Motion
carried by a vote of 8 ayes and 0 nays.
Motion was made by Marshall Kent and seconded by Vincent Battles to excuse Eddie
Vincent from consideration of the next item. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays.
6 . Consideration of and action on recommendation of the Preliminary Plat, Summerwood
H.
Motion was made to approve by Bobby Myers and seconded by Vincent Battles, subject to
the City Engineer's Memo, dated November 6, 2000, with item #3 on the Engineering
Memo reflecting drainage designed so that water is no deeper than 6 "over pavement.
Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes and 0 nays.
Motion was made for Eddie Vincent to return to the meeting. Motion carried by a vote of
7 ayes and 0 nays.
Meeting adjourned.
