Description of Item: Discuss and act on expansion of the PEDC Board's membership to
to Lamar County residents. Residents of Lamar County feel left out with regard to economic
development and growth. They spend money inside the city limits and pay sales tax each
time they frequent Walmart or other grocery stores, as well as money spent at other businesses
within the city limits.
