5:30 O'CLOCK P.M.
The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, January 4, 2016, was
called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Holland Harper, Chairman.
A. The following members were present: Holland Harper, John Lee, Jerry Akers,
Barney Bray, Robert Spain and Billy Trenado
B. The following member was absent: Mike Folmar
C. Also present were John Godwin, City Manager; Shane Grissom, Engineering
Technician; Clyde Crews, Interim Fire Marshal; Ashley Fendley, Secretary for the
Planning and Zoning Commission and a concern citizen.
2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (December 7, 2015)
Motion was made by Billy Trenado, seconded by John Lee to approve minutes for the
December 7, 2015 meeting. Motion carried 6 -0.
3. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Serrano Addition
CB 251A, located at 1121 North Main Street.
Shane Grissom reviewed the preliminary plat with commissioners. Motion was made by
John Lee, seconded by Jerry Akers to approve the preliminary plat. Motion carried 6 -0.
4. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, Serrano Addition CB
251A, located at 1121 North Main Street.
Shane Grissom reviewed the final plat with commissioners. Motion was made by Barney
Bray, seconded by John Lee to approve the final plat. Motion carried 6 -0.
5. Consideration of and action on the Replat of Lot 3D, City Block 317, located in the 3600
Block of Castlegate Drive.
Shane Grissom reviewed the replat with commissioners. Motion was made by John Lee,
seconded by Robert Spain to approve the replat. Motion carried 6 -0.
6 Meeting adjourned at 5:32 p.m.
