MINUTES OF March 31, 2016
Present at the Meeting:
Gary Savage — Chairman of the Board of Commissioners
Dewayne Dangerfield — Commissioner of the Board of Commissioners
Rachel Braswell - Commissioner of the Board of Commissioners
Sally Ruthart — Executive Director
Ms. House — Rachel Braswell's friend
1. Meeting Called to order at 4:06 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2016 by Chairman of the
Board of Commissioners, Gary Savage.
2. Having three Board Members present, a quorum, Mr. Savage thanked and welcomed
everyone to the meeting.
3. Citizens' Forum Opened — No comments — Citizens' Forum closed.
4. Minutes from the March 15, 2016 meeting were approved after a change on page 3 at
the top of the page was labeled as Mrs. Ruthart should have been Mr. Dangerfield was
changed. Passed with a motion made by Rachel Braswell and seconded by Dewayne
Dangerfield. Passed 3 -0.
5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Moved to Regular Meeting in April.
6. NEW BUSINESS: Lawn Care/Mowing Contract
7. RESOLUTIONS:
2015 -016. Contract with Great Escapes/Marcus Cartwright — Motion made by
Mr. Dangerfield and seconded by Ms. Braswell. Passed 3 -0.
8. Board Questions or comments:
Ms. Braswell asked where the Housing Authority was in Blossom as she was from there
and wanted to see it. Mr. Savage and Mr. Dangerfield gave her directions.
9. No further business or questions, a motion for adjournment from Dewayne Dangerfield
and seconded by Rachel Braswell. Motion passed 3 -0. The meeting was adjourned at
4:14 pm.
