MONTHLY BOARD MEETING MINUTES
March 14, 2017
The Firemen's Pension Board met at 3:00 p.m. on March 14, 2017 in the Conference Room at Station
One.

1. The public may address the Board. Five minutes will be allotted to each person. Additional time
may be granted.
There was no one from the public to address the board.
2. Presentation by Westwood Trust
Kim Calhoun and Michelle Neber from Westwood Trust made a presentation to the board
regarding the Fund's investments.
a. Discussion and possible action regarding the presentation.
No action was needed
3. Approve the minutes for the January 2017 meeting.
Motion was made to approve the minutes from January 2017.

4. Approve the results of the Firefighter Trustee Election.
Motion was made to approve the results of the Firefighter Trustee Election naming Randy
Crawford as Firefighter Trustee.

5. Review and approve the Refund of Contributions for Justin Hay.

7. Review and approve the Financial Statements from Westwood.

8. Discussion regarding a replacement for the open Civilian Board member position (position A).
Stephen Gerrald was introduced to the board as a prospective board trustee.
Motion was made to appoint Stephen Gerrald as Civilian Board Trustee, beginning a 2 year term
immediately.

9. Discussion and possible action regarding the Civilian Board member position currently held by
Ryan Lassiter (position B).
The Board was informed that Ryan Lassiter had resigned his position on the board.
10. Review and take action on correspondence addressed to the Paris Firefighters' Relief and
Retirement Fund received after last meeting.
No action needed
11. Motion was made to adjourn the meeting.
