Board of Directors Meeting
March 22, 2017
4:00 pm
Members Present: Bryan Hargis, Chad Lee Johnston, Brenda Wells, Jeff Martin, Linda Kapp, Mary Lou Coe, Gail Dority, Tony
Corso, Renee Harvey, and Lisa Walker.
Staff Present: Ken Higdon, Gina Crawford, and Becky Semple.
Lisa Walker called the meeting to order at 4:08 pm.
A motion to approve the February minutes was made by Chadlee Johnston, seconded by Tony Corso. Motion passed
unanimously.
A motion to approve the financials was made by Chadlee Johnston, seconded by Tony Corso. Motion passed unanimously.
A funding request from ASA Western Shootout was presented. They were asking for $2300. A motion to approve $1500 was
made by Renee Harvey, seconded by Brenda Wells. Motion passed unanimously.
Jeff Yeley of Certified Folder display gave a presentation. A motion to approve the contract with Certified Folder for up to
$1200 per year, was made by Renee Harvey, seconded by Chadlee Johnston. Motion passed unanimously.
Chadlee Johnston gave an update on purchasing a red phone booth kiosk. A motion to approve up to $2000 was made by
Chadlee Johnston, seconded by Brenda Wells. Motion passed unanimously.
Lisa Walker stated that we would table the Trail de Paris signage, until we have more information.
Ken Higdon reported that there is a need to add gravel and asphalt to the back of the civic center, for RV spaces. A motion to
spend up to $20,000 was made by Renee Harvey, seconded by Brenda Wells. Motion passed unanimously.
Becky Semple gave the directors report. She reported about the upcoming events. She also stated that we are always in need
of volunteers.
Next meeting will be on April 19, 2017
With nothing further, meeting was adjourned at 5:07 pm.
