Governing Board Minutes
Love Civic Center
Thursday, December 17, 2015
Present: Bobby Walters, Kern Wright, Randy Nation, Chadlee Johnston, Linda Kapp, Curtis Fendley,
Robert High, Josh Bray, Stephen Gerrald, Casey Ressler, Steve Keywood, Jon Landers, Edwin Pickle,
Kenneth Webb, and Troy Scholl.
Staff: Ken Higdon, Becky Semple, Gina Crawford
Curtis Fendley called meeting to order at 4:00 pm.
Stephen Gerrald reported that the rate committee had met and changes were made. The new rate
sheet will be included in the minutes. A motion to approve rate change was made by Jon Landers,
seconded by Steve Keywood, with a small discussion from Robert High, all approved.
Randy Nation gave a bid for roof repair from Smallwood and Archer. A motion to approve roof repair
with double crimp of $22,000, was made by Ken Higdon, seconded by Casey Ressler, all approved.
Curtis Fendley reported that they are going to have Chaney draft a plan for the pad at east and RV spots
and sewer line, electricity and lighting. The bid is still forth coming.
Ken Higdon stated that he received a phone system bid to accommodate both Love Civic Center and
Chamber offices. It is a VOI system. A motion to approve was made by Jon Landers and seconded by
Kenneth Webb, for the LCC to spend up to $2200, all approved.
With nothing further, meeting was adjourned at 4:42 pm.
