Governing Board Minutes
Love Civic Center
Thursday, September 10, 2015
Present: Bobby Walters, Kern Wright, Randy Nation, Edwin Pickle, Ronny Bolton, Jimmie Hopson,
Chadlee Johnston, Linda Kapp, Casey Ressler, Kenneth Webb, Dr. Pam Anglin, Curtis Fendley, Robert
High, Steve Keywood, and Jeff Martin.
Staff: Ken Higdon, Becky Semple, Gina Crawford
Curtis Fendley called meeting to order at 4:01 pm.
Jeff Martin gave the budget. Financials accepted.
The minutes from August 2015, meeting was presented. Motion to approve was made Kenneth Webb,
seconded by Casey Ressler.
Randy Nation reported there are still a few leaks on the roof and he is still waiting on a bid.
Curtis Fendley reported that they are going to have Chaney draft a plan for the pad at east and RV spots
and a possible sewer line. Randy is also still getting a bid for a new floor machine. A motion to spend
up to $10,500 for a new floor machine was approved by Casey Ressler, seconded by Kenneth Webb.
Randy Nation stated that the alarm system has been upgraded and that the lights and thermostats need
to be upgraded as well. Advance Alarm is preparing a bid.
A rate committee was formed including Dr. Pam Anglin, Jimmie Hopson, Chad Lee Johnston and Robert
High. They will meet before the next board meeting and advise about a rate change.
Ken Higdon reported that he has prepared a RFP for an ATM machine and will be sending out soon. A
motion was made to send the RFT out by Chad Lee Johnston, seconded by Robert High.
With nothing further, meeting was adjourned at 4:21 pm.
