Love Civic Center
October 13, 2016
4:00 pm
Present: Curtis Fendley, Casey Ressler, Chadlee Johnston, Roderick Martin, Helen Ressler, Linda Kapp,
JoKyle Varner, Bobby Walters and Troy Scholl.
Staff: Ken Higdon, Gina Crawford and Kern Wright
Curtis Fendley called meeting to order at 4:02 pm.
A motion to approve the August minutes was made by Bobby Walters, seconded by Casey Ressler, all
approved. A motion to approve August and September financials was made by Casey Ressler, seconded
by Troy Scholl, all approved.
Ken Higdon said they are still working on bids for lighting, sound and video bids.
Ken Higdon will check on an air curtain, to help with utility costs.
Ken Higdon stated that the City Contract has been approved for 10 years.
Ken Higdon stated that the bookings are doing well at this time.
Ken Higdon said we have marketing materials being designed and new logo on its way.
Ken Higdon stated that Randy Nation will not be released to come back to work until he is 100%
released from Doctor. Jon McFadden will fill in to help Kern Wright. The plan is for him to work
approximately 30 hours per week.
A long range planning committee will meet on November 16, 4pm, Love Civic Center.
The next meeting will be on December 8, 2016.
With nothing further, meeting was adjourned at 4:32 pm.
