Love Civic Center
August 18, 2016
Present: Curtis Fendley, Jimmie Hopson, Robert High, Steve Keywood, Casey Ressler, Chadlee Johnston,
Roderick Martin, Helen Ressler, Chip McEwin, Pam Anglin and Troy Scholl.
Staff: Ken Higdon, Gina Crawford, Kem Wright and Randy Nation
Curtis Fendley called meeting to order at 4:00 pm.
A motion to approve the June minutes was made by Robert High, seconded by Jimmie Hopson, all
approved. A motion to approve June and July financials and LCC budget was made by Casey Ressler,
seconded by Troy Scholl, all approved.
Ken Higdon gave a brief report on City Contract that will be presented Monday, Aug. 22 at City Council.
Randy Nation said we are still working on sound, light and video bids.
Randy Nation stated that we have lost a few events, due to rate increase. Curtis Fendley asked for him
to keep a report to look at annually.
Ken Higdon said we have marketing materials being designed and new logo on its way.
A long range planning committee will begin meeting after the City Contract is approved.
The next meeting will be on October 14, 2016.
With nothing further, meeting was adjourned at 4:31 pm.
