Governing Board Minutes
Love Civic Center
February 11, 2016
Present: Bobby Walters, Kern Wright, Randy Nation, Chadlee Johnston, Linda Kapp, Curtis Fendley, Josh
Bray, Casey Ressler, Steve Keywood, Edwin Pickle, and Troy Scholl.
Staff: Ken Higdon, Becky Semple, Gina Crawford
Curtis Fendley called meeting to order at 4:03 pm.
A motion to approve the December minutes and financials was made by Bobby Walters, seconded by
Steve Keywood, all approved.
Randy Nation stated that the roof repair was done.
A motion to approve the new ice machine was made by Bobby Walters, seconded by Linda Kapp, all
approved.
Curtis Fendley reported that the work for the pads at back of building needed to go to the Executive
session to be approved. A motion to approve was made by Bobby Walters, seconded by Casey Ressler,
all approved.
The ATM is up and working.
A motion to approve the new rates for LCC was made by Linda Kapp, seconded by Bobby Walters, all
approved.
The floor repairs are done.
Randy Nation gave bids for yearly service contracts. A motion to approve Sanchez Lawn to do yardwork
for $$6360 annually was made by Linda Kapp, seconded by Steve Keywood. A motion to accept T & C
Pest bid of $245 quarterly was made by Bobby Walters, seconded by Chadlee Johnston. Finally a motion
to approved Paris Air bid of $ 2800 annually was made by Bobby Walters, seconded by Casey Ressler, all
approved.
Curtis Fendley said a long range planning committee needs to be formed. It will consist of Curtis
Fendley, Linda Kapp, Erik Roddy, Ken Higdon, and a chamber board rep.
The next meeting will be on April 14.
With nothing further, meeting was adjourned at 4:32 pm.
