1999-105-NORTHEAST TEXAS LIBRARY SYSTEM APPOINTMENTS
RESOLUTION NO. 99-105
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, acting through its Library, is desirous of continuing
participation in the Northeast Texas Library System; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Keitt Wood, as lay representative to the Northeast
Texas Library System, and Jackie Alsobrook, as alternate lay representative, will expire on
August 31, 1999; and,
WHEREAS, the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris does hereby recommend
the appointment of John Howison, as lay representative, and the reappointment of Jackie
Alsobrook, as alternate lay representative, for terms of Iwo (2) years, beginning September I,
1999, and ending August 31,2001; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O}' PARIS, that
John Howison be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve as lay representative and that Jackie
Alsobrook be, and she is hereby, reappointed to serve as alternate lay representative to the
Northeast Texas Library System for terms of two (2) years, beginning September 1, 1999, and
ending August 31,2001.
