1999-052-WEST WATER STORAGE TANK REHABILITATION BID
RESOLUTION NO. 99-052
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore authorize the preparation
of plans and specifications for a project of rehabilitation and painting of the West .5 million gallon
elevated water storage tank located at 5th Street N.W.; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by City Engineer, Earl E.
Smith, with the title being given thereto of "Rehabilitation and Painting of West .5 Million Gallon
Elevated Water Storage Tank on 5th Street N.W.," Project No. 83100, which plans and
specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that such plans and specifications be approved and
that such project be authorized for advertisement for bids; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
plans and specifications for the "Rehabilitation and Painting of West .5 Million Gallon Elevated
Water Storage Tank on 5th Street N.W.," Project No. 83100, be, and the same are hereby,
approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such rehabilitation and paIntmg project be
advertised for bids to be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of
Paris, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'dock p.m. on Tuesday,
June 8. 1999, at which time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 135
1st Street S.E., Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be tabulated and presented to the City
Council on the 14th day of June, 1999, for the purpose of letting such bid.
