1999-082-PURCHASE OF 1999 REAR-LOADING TRASH COMPACTOR TRUCK
RESOLUTION NO. 99-082
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has been a member of the Cooperative Purchasing Program
through the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments since October 1, 1990; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the City of Paris purchase a new rear-loading
trash compactor truck through said Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, it is further deemed appropriate that Michael E. Malone, City Manager of
the City of Paris, be authorized to execute a purchase order for a 1999 GC - F78042 Rear Loader
and a McNeilus Metropak 20 Standard Compaction Rear Loader for a total purchase price of
$79,021.69; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
City Manager, Michael E. Mdone, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on
behalf of the City of Paris, a purchase order with the Houston-Galveston Area Council of
Governments for a 1999 GC - F78042 Rear Loader and a McNeilus Metropak 20 Standard
Compaction Rear Loader for a total purchase price of $79,021.69.
