1999-087-LEASE AGREEMENT WITH LARRY RICHARDSON, LOTS 6 AND 7, CITY BLOCK 251A
RESOLUTION NO.
99-087
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of July,
1997, in Resolution No. 97-078, authorize the execution of a Lease Agreement with Larry
Richardson for the property being part of Lots 6 and 7, City Block 251A, located on North Main
Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is in receipt of an Exercise of Option
from Larry Richardson, the form of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, for a one (1) year
extension of said Lease Agreement dated July 14, 1997; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it appropriate to grant the exercise of option to Larry
Richardson for one (1) year, which will extend the term of said Lease Agreement from July 1,
1999, to June 30, 2000, and the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, should be authorized to
acknowledge acceptance of said Exercise of Option by signing the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
Exercise of Option by Larry Richardson, the form of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, be,
and the same is hereby, granted for a period of one (1) year, beginning July 1, 1999, and ending
June 30, 2000; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to acknowledge acceptance, on behalf of the City of Paris, of
said Exercise of Option by signing the same.

That Larry Richardson did heretofore, on the 14th day of July, 1997, execute a Lease
Agreement for property being part of Lots 6 and 7, City Block 251A located on North Main
Street, with the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, a municipal corporation.
Larry Richardson does hereby exercise his option for the one (I) year period beginning
July I, 1999, and ending June 30,2000, at the monthly rental rate of $250.00.
