SUBJECT: NORTHWEST EMS STATION
DATE: August 8, 2017
BACKGROUND: Design on the new EMS station to replace our location inside PRMC is
progressing to the point that we need to review the progress with the council.
STATUS OF ISSUE: Our project architect, Paul Denney, will make a brief presentation to the
council on August 14, preparatory to bidding the project out for construction this coming fall.
BUDGET: Funding will come from $325,000 set aside out of the General Fund over multiple
years.
RECOMMENDATION: Receive presentation from architect, provide feedback, and authorize
completion of design and bid documents for bidding of the project at the earliest date practical.
