RESOLUTION NO. 2000-176
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISING OF BIDS FOR A
LEASE ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON PART OF LOTS 6 AND 7, CITY
BLOCK 251A, BEING NUMBER 1231 N. MAIN STREET, PARIS, TEXAS;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of July,
1997, authorize the execution of a Lease Agreement between the City of Paris and Larry Richardson
on property located on Part of Lots 6 and 7, City Block 251A, being number 1231 N. Main Street,
Paris, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, said lease expired on the 30th day of June, 2000, and it is deemed appropriate
to advertise for bids for lease of said property; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That the City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham, be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed to advertise for bids for a lease on property located on part of Lots 6 and 7, City Block
251A, being number 1231 N. Main Street, Paris, Texas, said bids to be received by 3:00 p.m., on a
date certain as determined by the City Clerk, and presented to the City Council at its next regular or
special meeting for the purpose of letting the same,
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage,
PASSED AND APPROVED this 11th day of December, 2000.
