2000-085-RES APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BAND COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 2000-085
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BAND COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of James M, Brunette, Edmond Castleberry, and Toni
Clem, as members of the Band Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 2000;
and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael J, Pfiester, has reappointed James
M, Brunette and Edmond Castleberry and has appointed Charles H, Neeley for terms of one
(1) year, beginning July 1,2000, and ending June 30, 2001, and has submitted the names of
such persons to the City Council for confirmation; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved,
Section 2. That the reappointments of James M, Brunette and Edmond Castleberry and
the appointment of Charles H, Neeley as members of the Band Commission of the City of Paris
for terms of one (1) year, beginning July 1,2000, and ending June 30,2001, be, and the same
are hereby, confirmed,
Section 3, That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
