2000-088-RES APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING AND
RESOLUTION NO. 2000-088
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Cesar Horta, Joe McCarthy, and Michael Dangerfield,
as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30,
2000; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael J. Pfiester, does hereby recommend
the appointment of Barbara Forrest, Vincent Battle, and Eddie Vincent for terms of three (3)
years, beginning July 1, 2000, and ending June 30,2003; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the fmdings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved,
Section 2. That Barbara Forrest, Vincent Battle, and Eddie Vincent be, and they are
hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris for terms of three (3) years, beginning July 1,2000, and ending June 30,2003.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of June, 2000.
