2000-089-RES APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE TRAFFIC
RESOLUTION NO. 2000-089
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE TRAFFIC
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the term of office of Charles Thompson, as a member of the Traffic
Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael J, Pfiester, does hereby recommend
the reappointment of Charles Thompson for a term of three (3) years, beginning July I, 2000, and
ending June 30,2003; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved,
Section 2. That Charles Thompson be, and he is hereby, reappointed to serve as a member
of the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris for a term of three (3) years beginning July 1,
2000, and ending June 30, 2003,
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of June, 2000,
