RESOLUTION NO. 2000-114
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE OF COUNCIL MEETING DATE;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular Monday meeting of the City Council
scheduled for Monday, September 11,2000, be consolidated with the regular Thursday meeting
which is scheduled for September 7,2000; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That the regular Monday meeting of the City Council scheduled for September
11,2000, be, and the same is hereby, rescheduled for Thursday, September 7, 2000, at 6:00
o'clock p.m.
Section 3. That a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall Bulletin Board giving
notice of the rescheduling of the regular Monday September Council meeting, and that the news
media be informed of the rescheduled date in the same marmer they are informed of emergency
City Council meetings.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
