RESOLUTION NO. 2000-120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE MAIN STREET
PROJECT ADVISORY BOARD TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF
DR. WILLIAM DeG. HAYDEN, WHICH EXPIRES MARCH 31, 2001;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Main Street Project Advisory
Board of the City of Paris due to the resignation of Dr. William DeG. Hayden, and it is necessary
to appoint his successor; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of
Terry Davis to serve the unexpired term of Dr. William DeG. Hayden, which ends March 31,
2001; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That Terry Davis be, and she is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term
of Dr. William DeG. Hayden, which ends March 31, 2001, as a member of the Main Street
Project Advisory Board of the City of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
