RESOLUTION NO. 2000-027
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01<' PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING BARBARA WILSON AS A MEMBER 01<'
THE MAIN STREET PROJECT ADVISORY BOARD TO SERVE THE
UNEXPIRED TERM OF PAT TAYWR, WHICH ENDS MARCH 31, 2001;
MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Main Street Project
Advisory Board of the City of Paris due to the resignation of Pat Taylor, and it is necessary to
appoint her successor; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Charles H. Neeley, does hereby recommend
the appointment of Barbara Wilson to serve the unexpired term of Pat Taylor, which ends March
31,2001; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01<' THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That Barbara Wilson be, and she is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired
term of Pat Taylor, which ends March 31, 2001, as a member of the Main Street Project Advisory
Board of the City of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
