AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD
COX FIELD AIRPORT TERMINAL
THURSDAY, MARCH 11, 1999
6:00 O'CLOCK, P.M.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by Victor Abeles.

The minutes of the November 17, 1998, meeting were approved by unanimous vote of
the Board.
Status Report on Cox Field Airport Terminal:
Tommy Haynes reported that Clark Construction will be back in a week or so to
complete some minor changes and construction. The delay has been due to having to
send changes through Texas Department of Transportation for approval. Chairs, etc.,
will be arriving in the near future as well as furnishings for the Pilots Lounge.
Status Report on Cox Field Runway Project, TxDOT Grant No. 9701.
Attached is a letter from Hayter Engineering explaining the status of the runway project.
New Business:
A. The Advisory Board recommends the City investigate the feasibility of installing
an airplane washing facility on the airport. This should be similar to coin -
operated car wash equipment, however, no cover would be required. The
Advisory Board volunteered to look into cost of equipment, etc., and report back
at the next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 o'clock, p.m.
