RESOLUTION NO. 2001-181
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FORBIDS FOR
THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2002 4-WHEELED EXCAVATOR FOR USE
IN THE PARKS AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS
RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Parks and Rights-of-Way Division of the Public Works Department is
in need of one (1) 4-wheeled excavator, and it is deemed appropriate that the City advertise for
bids for the purchase of same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That the purchase of one (1) 2002 4-wheeled excavator for use in the Parks and
Rights-of-Way Division of the Public Works Department be advertised for bids to be received
after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of Paris, City Hall, 135 1st Street
S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'clock p.m. on the 4th day of December, 2001, at which
time said bids will be opened, tabulated, and then presented to the City Council for the purpose
of letting such bid.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage.
