2005-072-RES APPOINTING MEMBERS TO LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-072
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD OF
THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS
RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Anna Davis, Nancee Salzman, and Walter Williams
as members of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 2005;
and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointments
of Audrey Lakes, Deborah Anderson, and Fran Neeley for terms of three (3) years, beginning
July 1,2005, and ending June 30, 2008; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS.
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That Audrey Lakes, Deborah Anderson, and Fran Neeley be, and they are
hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Library Advisory Board of the City of Paris for
terms of three (3) years, beginning July 1,2005, and ending June 30, 2008.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
