Counctl of the Ctty of Parts to enter toto a grounds sublease agreement ,with the Hopewell
Volunteer Fire Department in e form sh wn in Exhibit A, attached here~o; and,
WHEREAS, it would be in the bes int~rests ofthe citizens of the ci):y of Paris that such
grounds sublease agreement be pproved; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI COUNCIL OF THE CITY@FPARIS,PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the find' gs set ou in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That the Re River V lIey Fair Association be, and i~ is hereby, granted
approval to enter into the gro ds suble se iagreement with the Hopewell Volunteer Fire
Department in the form shown' Exhibit , attached hereto,

VI. REPRESENTATIONS OF LES
The Lessor agre s and a kQowledges that Lesse~ is a non-profit
organization as tha term s defined under the governing of the
bingo statutes in teState o~ Texas and that thE1 Lessee holds a
valid license to con uct bi go:within the State of'Texas issued by
E~HIBIT A

the Texas Lottery Co ission o~ the State of Texa~. It shall be
the Lessee's responsi ility o ,provide for all bi~go supplies or
other equipment associated w'tB the operation of ~he bingo game,
including but not Ii ited t wrizes, bingo cardst or any other
'necessary equipment. It is nderstood and agreed that the Lessor
shall not be respons ble fo the storage or main!tenance of any
equipment herein abov descr bed.
VII. INSURANCE:
The Lessee, a eel s expense, shall maintain a
comprehensive general ty insurance policy o~ the described
premises and adjoinin parki g facilities in an amo~nt of at least
$300,000.00 combined single li~its and shall name !the Lessor and
the City of Paris as additi na~ insured on said golicy. Lessee
shall provide Lessor ith a ertificate of insurance providing for
th;i.rty (30) days adva ce not' ce! of cancellation.
VIII. SEVERABILITY:
Should any prov' sions of! this lease be helli invalid, the
validity of the main ortions o~ this lease shall ndt be effective.
IX. APPROVAL:
This lease is the approval of the C~ty of Paris per
the main lease agr ement e~ween the Red Riv~r Valley Fair
Association, Inc., the C'ty of Paris, Paris, Texas.
