2005-040-RES APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-040
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE MAIN STREET
ADVISORY BOARD; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS
RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Jennifer Long, Pike Burkhart, Alternate, and DeAnna
Roberts, Alternate as members of the Main Street Advisory Board of the City of Paris, will expire
on March 31, 2005; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointment of
Jennifer Long, Pike Burkhart, and DeAnna Roberts for terms of three (3) years, beginning April 1 ,
2005, and ending March 31,2008; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Jennifer Long, Pike Burkhart, Alternate, and DeAnna Roberts, Alternate be,
and they are hereby, reappointed to serve as members of the Main Street Advisory Board for terms
of three (3) years, beginning April 1, 2005, and ending March 31, 2008.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
