CONCRETE CLASS A (5 SACK), PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE CLASS C (6
SACK), GROUT (5 SACK) AND GROUT (6 SACK.)

BACKGROUND: This is the annual bid for roadway materials to be used by the Street, Water
Distribution, Sewer Maintenance, in(] Parks Divisions. The material competitively bid includes
Street Materials Annual bid/rebid for Portland Cement Concrete Class A (5 Sack), Portland
Cement Concrete Class C (6 Sack), Grout (5 Sack) and Grout (6 Sack.).
STATLYS OF ISSUE. The City of Paris Public Works Department has received sealed bids for
street materials and would like to award bids to the lowest bidder for each material. The bid
tabulation sheet is attached for details of the bids and materials, with low bids highlighted. Only
one contractor placed a rebid for Portland Cement Concrete Class A (5 Sack), Portland Cement
Concrete Class C (6 Sack), Grout (5 Sack) and Grout (6 Sack).
BUDGET: Monies are budgeted in the Street. Water Distribution, Sewer Maintenance, and Park
Divisions.
RECOMMENDATION: Award bid as indicated in tabulation attachment.
