RESOLUTION NO. 2005-019
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING FOR DEDICATION CERTAIN OFF-SITE
EASEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE
NORTHWEST INDUSTRIAL PARK BY THE PARIS ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (pEDC); MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Paris Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) is in the process of
completing the installation of all necessary infrastructure for the development of the Northwest
Industrial Park, including the installation of certain off-site utilities and other associated
infrastructure requiring the use of certain off-site easements; and,
WHEREAS, the PEDC has sought approval of the final plat for the aforesaid Northwest
Industrial Park; and,
WHEREAS, as part of the completion of the platting process, the aforesaid off-site utility
and service easements must be dedicated to the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That those off-site easements necessary for the extension of certain utilities and
other services to the Northwest Industrial Park developed by the Paris Economic Development
Corporation, as said easements are attached hereto and for all purposes incorporated herein, shall be
and are hereby in all things accepted for dedication by the City of Paris.

Section 3. That the Mayor, City Manager, City Engineer, and other officials as shall be
deemed necessary shall be and are hereby authorized to execute any and all documents associated
with the acceptance of the aforesaid easements.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage,
PASSED AND APPROVED this 14th day of February, 2005.

County of Lamar, State of Texas, also being a part of the John Herrington Survey,
Abstract Number 436, also being a part of a called 196,7 acre tract ofland conveyed from
the city of Paris to Paris Texas Industrial Foundation, Inc" on April 6, 1959, recorded in
Vol. 360, Page 320 of the Deed Records of said County, The said 3.42 acre tract ofland
being described more particularly in metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at a found iron rod at the Northeast comer of the said 3.42 acre tract of
land, said comer being in the East boundary line of the said Paris Texas Industrial
Foundation, Inc. property;
Thence S 00050' 38" E, with said property line, a distance of 80.64 feet the
Southeast comer of the said 3.42 acre tract ofland;
Thence West, a distance of 148.72 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left;
Thence with a curve to the left a distance of 590.23 feet to the end of the curve,
The radius of the curve is 882,26 feet and the central angle is 380 19' 50". The chord
length is 579,28 feet at a bearing of S 72050' 32" W;

Thence S 54026' 05" W, a distance of99.56 feet to the beginning of a curve to
