Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in regular session
at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018. The meeting will be held at the City Council
Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted
upon are as follows:
Opening Agenda
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Invocation,
3. Pledge of Allegiance,
4. A. Citizens' forum.

an iters is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Council from responding to
any comments other than to refer the natter to a fi.ItUre agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person

individual personnel appeals are not appropriate for citizens' forum.)
If necessary. the City Council may convene into ExeCL]tiVC Session under Chapter 551 of the Texas
Government. Code regarding any item on this agenda.
B, Proclamation Declaring the month olAprit as Operation Extraordinary Month.
Consent Agenda
Items on the Consent Agenda are approved by a single action Of the COMICil, With Such approval applicable
to all items appearing on the Consent Agenda. A Council Member rnay request any item to be rernoved
from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item.
5. Approve minutes from the meeting on March 26, 2018.
6. Receive reports and/or minutes from the following boards and commissions:
a. Housing Authority (12-19-2017)
b. Paris Visitors & Convention Council (2-19-2018)
c. Planning & Zoning Commission (2-5-2018)
Regular Agenda
7. Consider and take action on an Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance and Sale of the City's
General Obligation Bonds, Series 2018 to fund costs of street and road improvements and
improvements to the City's water and sewer system, and approving all other matters
pertaining thereto,
8. Discuss and receive public comment on the Parks, Recreation and Opens Space Master
Plan Update.
9. Discuss and act on the second meeting date in May.
10. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to
Resolution No. 2004-081..
11. AdJournment.
