RESOLUTION NO. 2005-001
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, DECLARING VARIOUS USED CITY-OWNED VEmCLES
SURPLUS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO
THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the several departments of the City of Paris have furnished a list of used
vehicles, attached hereto as Exhibit A, which no longer serve a useful purpose for the City of Paris
and its operation, and it would be appropriate that said vehicles be declared surplus property; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That the used vehicles described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, be, and the same
are hereby, declared to be surplus property of the City of Paris, and the same may be disposed in
accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
