1997-038-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL HAS IDENTIFIED THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL PRACTICE BACKSTOPS
RESOLUTION NO. 97 -038
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has identified the need for additional
practice backstops for youth sports teams in the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to authorize the City Attorney to negotiate with
property owners for locations for said purpose that are determined to be appropriate by the
Director of Parks and Recreations; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
City Attorney of the City of Paris, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to negotiate, on behalf of the City of Paris, with property owners for the placement of casual
backstops to be used by youth sports teams for practices on locations that are determined to be
appropriate by the Director of Parks and Recreations.
