1997-055-RES WHEREAS. CUSTOMARY STAFF VACATION TIME, ALONE WITH ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS ANNUAL
RESOLUTION NO. 97-055
WHEREAS. customary staff vacation time. along with the Ark-Tex Council of
Governments annual conference, occurs during the first week in June, 1997, which interferes with
the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Thursday, June 5, 1997; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular Thursday meeting of the City
Council scheduled for June 5, 1997, be consolidated with the regular Monday meeting of the City
Council scheduled for June 9, 1997; NOW, THEREI<'ORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01<' THE CITY 01<' PARIS, that the
regular Thursday meeting of the City Council scheduled for June 5, 1997, be, and the same is
hereby, rescheduled for Monday, June 9, 1997, at 6:00 o'clock P.M.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall
Bulletin Board giving notice of the rescheduling of the regular Thursday June Council meeting,
and that the news media be informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are
informed of emergency City Council meetings.
