1997-054-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE ON THE 14TH DAY OF APRIL 1997
RESOLUTION NO. 97 -054
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of
April, 1997, pass Resolution No. 97-042, which said Resolution was incorrect and requires
correction; NOW, THERE}'ORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL O}' THE CITY O}' PARIS, that
Resolution No. 97-042, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows:
"WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the
13th day of February, 1995, in Resolution No. 95-029, authorize the execution of
a Lease Agreement with Larry Richardson for property located on part of Lots 6
and 7, City Block 251A, being number 1231 N. Main Street, Paris, Texas; and,
"WHEREAS, said lease expired on the 1 st day of April, 1997, and it is
deemed appropriate to advertise for bids for lease of said property; NOW,
THERE}'ORE,
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham, be, and she is hereby, authorized
and directed to advertise for bids for a lease on property located on part of Lots 6
and 7, City Block 251A, being number 1231 N. Main Street, Paris, Texas, said
bids to be received by 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, 1997, and presented to the City
Council, at its next regular or special meeting, for the purpose of letting the same."
