RESOLUTION NO. 97-139
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of April,
1997, authorize the preparation of plans and specifications for a drainage project to be funded by
the Certificates of Obligation, Series 1993; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by the City Engineer of the
City of Paris, Earl Smith, with the title being given thereto of "Unnamed Tributary to Tributary
#22 to Stillhouse Creek Drainage Project," which begins at Loop 286 N.E. and continues south
to said unnamed tributary's beginning, which plans and specifications are recommended for
approval by said City Engineer; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate by the City Council of the City of Paris that such
plans and specifications be approved and that said Drainage Project be executed directly by the
City Engineer's Department of the City of Paris in conformity with such detailed plans,
specifications, and estimates, as permitted by Sections 75 and 76 of the Charter of the City of
Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
plans and specifications for the "Unnamed Tributary to Tributary #22 to Stillhouse Creek
Drainage Project" be, and the same are hereby, approved, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that, as permitted by Sections 75 and 76 of the Charter
of the City of Paris, said Drainage Project be executed directly by the City Engineer's Department
of the City of Paris in conformity with said detailed plans, specifications, and estimates.
