1. The meeting of'the.Planning and Zoning Commi . sst . on was called to order at 5:30 p, m. by

The following members were present: James O'Bryan, Keith Flowers, Rick HUndley,
John Lee and Chad Lindsey
Also present were Carla Easton, City Engineer; Clyde Crews; Fire Marshal, Triniti
Frazier, Community Development Coordinator; and concerned citizens.

Motion was made by John Lee, seconded by Chad Lindsey to approve minutes for the
April 17, 2018 meeting. Motion carried 5-0.
3. Consideration (lfand action on the Preliminary Plat qfLot 1, Block A, Oak Creek Business
Park 1i2, located at 1800 FA4 195.
Carla Easton, City Engineer reviewed the preliminary plat background and status of issue
with cornmissioners,
BACKGROUND: TNC Alliance, LIX, owns part of Lot 1, City Block 319 located at
1800 FM 195. The owner desires to realign the cast property boundary, along with an
existing utility easement, in order to relocate the existing overhead electric lines and poles.
The property is currently zoned Planned Development District (PD).
STATUS OF ISSUE: The owner has submitted a preliminary and final plat of the
property to realign the lot line. Water and sewer infrastructure is near to the site, and is
available for extension to serve a future development. It appears that the plat complies
with the City of Paris subdivision regulations.
Motion was made by Chad Lindsey, seconded by John Lee to approve the Preliminary Plat.
Motion carried 5-0,
4. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat ofof 1, Block A, Oak ('reek Business Park
9.2, located at 1800 FM 195.
Carla Easton, City Engineer reviewed the final plat background and status of issue with
commissioners.
Motion was made by Chad Lindsey, seconded by Keith Flowers to approve the Final Plat.
Motion carried 5-0.

5. Considerationqfand action on the Preliminary Plat of "Loll, Block A, Our Lady qI'Victory
Catholic Church Parish Addition, located at 3350 Clarksville Street,
Carla Easton, City Engineer reviewed the preliminary plat background and status of issue
with commissioners.
BACKGROUND: Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church owns lots 7 and 8 of City Block
311 located at 3350 Clarksville Street. The property is currently zoned Planned
Development District (PD -b). The owner is proposing to combine lots 7 and 8 into a
single lot and construct a monastery in the future. A site plan has not been -finalized at this
time but they are working towards one and this plat will allow them to conSt]'LlCt when they
are ready.
STATUS OF ISSUE: The owners have submitted a preliminary and final plat of the
property to combine lots 7 and 8 into one lot. Water and sewer infrastructure is available
to the site, and it appears that the plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision
regulations, subject to the following revisions.
Motion was made by Keith Flowers, seconded by John Lee to approve the Preliminary
Plat. Motion carried 6-0.

Catholic Church Parish Addition, located at 3350 Clarks°ville Street
Carla Easton, City Engineer reviewed the final plat background and status of issue with
commissioners.
Motion was made by Rick Hundley, seconded by John Lee to approve the Final Plat with
the City Engineer's recommendations:
1. Provide a 5' utility easement along the side lot lines for franchise utilities
2. Provide a site: plan showing building locations, elevations, access drives, and utility
connections
Motion carried 6-0.
