SUBJECT: MAIN STREET BOARD REPORT

BACKGROUND: Although we have not done it consistently, our Main Street Advisory Board
is supposed to provide at least an annual report to the city council updating you on its activities,
accomplishments, and upcoming Plans.
STATUS OF ISSUE: At the January 22 council meeting, Main Street Coordinator Cheri
Bedford and members of her Main Street Board made a presentation, highlighting completed
improvements downtown as well as their 201.8 plan of work. To help the Council be more
cognizant of activities and successes, and also provide you an opportunity to offer suggestions or
direction, the board intends to present at least a couple o17 times per year, and are scheduled to
address You again on June I I.
