RESOLUTION NO. 97-132
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 12th day of
January, 1970, pass Resolution No. 1354, which said Resolution was incorrect and requires
correction; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
Resolution No. 1354, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows:
"WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it advisable to
establish an Airport Advisory Board to act in an advisory capacity to the City
Council in relation to the Municipal Airport, its operation and facilities, said Board
to consist of a chairman and six (6) members for terms of three (3) years; and,
"WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, B. M. Felty, has
recommended to the City Council the appointment of the following persons for
initial appointment to the Airport Advisory Board: V. E. Stewart; Jimmy Wrenn;
Ralph Klint; Al Pivonka; O. A. Broussard, III; Dr. Lawrence Mann; and Loyd
Mathews; NOW, THEREFORE,
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that an Airport Advisory Board to act in an advisory capacity to the City
Council in relation to the Municipal Airport, its operation and facilities, be, and the
same is hereby, established; and,
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the recommendation of the Mayor
of the City of Paris, B. M. Felty, that the following persons be appointed to serve
as members of the Airport Advisory Board for terms of three (3) years, beginning
January 1, 1970, and ending December 31, 1972, be, and the same is hereby,
approved and confirmed: V. E. Stewart, Chairman; Jimmy Wrenn; Ralph Klint;
Al Pivonka; O. A. Broussard, III; Dr. Lawrence Mann; and Loyd Mathews."
