Chairman Dux called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m.
Commissioner Eremite rnade the notion to approve MAY 9, 2018 minutes, seconded by
Commissioner Dux, unanimous,
Kris Estep presented the signage request for South Main Iron, located at 255 SW Is' Street.
The proposed signage totals 9811, and includes a narrow rectangular black background with
white lettering of the business name, to be placed either above the entry door and first floor
windows or above the second story windows, as well as a sinall wheel and wing design on the
left upper side of structure. The owners plan on using the existing lights for illumination. There
was some discussion on lighting for the sign if the existing lights cannot be made in working
order. Hearing no other questions, Commissioner Hider made the motion to approve the sign
as presented, seconded by Commissioner Barbee, unanimous.
The following list of minor Certificate of Appropriateness approved in house was recieved by
the commission.
COA#1 8-0520 Signage on, 35 & 39 Lamar, Cotton Harvest Spa and Boutique
COA#I 8-0523 Signage on 118 1" Street SE, Twenty Seven Photography
Hearing no future agenda items, Commissioner Coyle made a motion to adjourn, seconded by
Commissioner Enu-nite, unanimous.
