1997-127-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 15th day of July, 1996, in '. . . RESOLUTION NO. 97-127 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 15th day of July, 1996, in Resolution No. 96-067, award the contract for the "Rehabilitation and Painting of 2 Two Million Gallon Steel Ground Storage Water Tanks," Project No. 92-WSRB02-96, to CORROSION ELIMINATORS; and, WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Paris, Earl Smith, acting as project engineer of said project, recommends the amendment of the contract for the same to extend the contract time, and to provide for an increase of 123 days, extending contract time from June 12, 1997 to October 13, 1997; and, WHEREAS, the form of Change Order No. Three and Final, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the form of Change Order No. Three and 'Final to the contract for the "Rehabilitation and Painting of 2 Two Million Gallon Steel Ground Storage Water Tanks, .. Project No. 92- WSRB02-96, attached hereto as Exhibit A, to amend the contract for said project to extend the contract time, and to provide for an increase of 123 days, extending contract time from June 12, 1997 to October 13, 1997, be, and the same is hereby, approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby. authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, said Change Order No. Three and Final under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
