RESOLUTION NO. 97-114
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 26.05(d) of the Property Tax Code of the State
of Texas, on September 22, 1997, a public hearing was held for the purpose of hearing the views
of proponents and opponents of the tax increase required to fund and balance the City Manager's
proposed budget for fiscal year 1997-1998; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriate time for the meeting at which the Council will vote on the tax
rate is found to be on the 26th day of September, 1997, at 12:00 p.m., in the City Council
Chambers, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that a
meeting be, and the same is hereby, called for the 26th day of September, 1997, at 12:00 p.m.,
in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas, to vote on the tax rate.
