<br />. . <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-102 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bylaws of the Texas Municipal League Group Benefits Risk Pool provides <br />for three (3) year staggered terms of office for members of its Board of Trustees, with members <br />from TML Regions 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 expiring on October 1, 1997; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a member of the pool for Region 15, the City of Paris was provided an <br />opportunity to nominate from among its employees or elected officials an individual to serve on <br />such Board; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of July, <br />1997, in Resolution No. 97-081, nominate W. E. Anderson, Director of Finance; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris must now cast its vote for a candidate, and it is deemed <br />appropriate that such vote be cast for W. E. Anderson, Director of Finance; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />City of Paris's vote for a candidate to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Texas Municipal <br />League Group Benefits Risk Pool be, and the same is hereby, cast for W. E. Anderson, Director <br />of Finance of the City of Paris; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, <br />and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the ballot for <br />such election in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 1997. <br /> <br />~ <br />,~~ <br />Eric S.
