1997-097-RES WHEREAS, TEXAS DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION (TXDOT) HAS REQUESTED INPUT FROM CITIES WITHIN "'" . . RESOLUTION NO. Q7 -OQ7 WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has requested input from cities within the jurisdiction of the Paris District with respect to state-maintained highway improvements within such cities' jurisdiction under the Surface Transportation Program (STP) for the Urban Mobility and Rehabilitation Program; and, WHEREAS, the City's staff has prepared a list of projects, in order of priority, for submission to TxDOT to assist in its selection of future projects, and it is deemed appropriate that such list be approved and that the Mayor, Eric S. Clifford, be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, that the project list for submission to the Texas Department of Transportation to assist in its selection of projects under the Surface Transportation Program (STP) for the Urban Mobility and Rehabilitation Program, attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the project list in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
