WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 13th day of
January, 1997, in Resolution No. 97-002, award the contract for "Cox Field - Paris Municipal
Airport - Airfield Lighting Improvements," being Phase 1 of TxDOT Project No. AP PARIS 4,
TxDOT No. CSJ 9601 Paris, to F & W Electrical Contractors, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as project engineer, recommends the
amendment of the contract for said project to adjust estimate quantities to reflect actual quantities
installed as shown on Exhibit B of Change Order No. One, and to provide for a net decrease of
$840.00 in the contract price, for a total contract price of $45,160.00; and,
WHEREAS, the form of Change Order No. One, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should,
in all things, be approved, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, should be
authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
form of Change Order No. One to the Contract for "Cox Field - Paris Municipal Airport -
Airfield Lighting Improvements," being Phase 1 of TxDOT Project No. AP PARIS 4, TxDOT
No. CSJ 9601 Paris, attached hereto as Exhibit A, to adjust estimate quantities to reflect actual
quantities installed as shown on Exhibit B of Change Order No. One, and to provide for a net
decrease of $840.00 in contract price, for a total contract price of $45,160.00, be, and the same
is hereby, approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford,
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, said
Change Order No. One under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A,
attached hereto.
